Autonomous and Synchronous Drone Magic
I personally haven’t been that into the geek-wave trend of drones. Drones up until now have been all about 3D printing and hardware hacks. But now, with this video, we see that finally the world of Drones is heading into the technology of AI and algorithmic response. Now, you’ve got my attention. Now, I am intrigued and interested.
Pretty impressive, no? NBC also recently posted a story about Disney filing for a patent for an idea called flixels? Basically they are Drones, that are floating pixels, and that will be used in performances at their theme parks? Which begs the question. Did Disney figure out how to mass produce and perform en masse with these floating pixels? Will they be able to use them to create a screen or create a low-bit rate video for all those watching to see? It’ll be interesting to see where Disney goes with this floating technology.
Yeah drones… you’ve got my attention now.
