In reply to <a href="https://taylorholmes.com/2010/08/02/inception-totems-explanation/#comment-1055441">togel hongkong</a>.

I'm so sorry about that. Yeah, it can get really persnickety and just tired of doing it's job on the comment front occasionally. Not sure why that is, and I've even hired a guy to look into it. All for naught. Anyway, sorry about your comment going into oblivion.

Thanks for the compliments about the blog. The biggest tidbit of advice I would give is super simple. And it's just, find your niche, and just do that thing. If you want to do movie reviews (which I don't do really), then watch a ton of movies, and rate them til the cows come home. If you want to give DIY advice, and how to tips, then go do that thing... but do it better than your competitors. Find someone else doing DIY tips, and figure out where they are lacking, and then do that thing. It actually took me forever to figure out what I wanted to write about. Maybe 3 years? Go back to my beginning posts, and you'll see I only did movies once in a blue moon. I mainly talked tech, and social media, and cool books, or whatever. (Heck, even just a few years ago I reviewed like over a hundred books in a year.) But if you can decide what you like writing about then you are 100% ahead of the game.

THEN, as you see readers respond to certain trends in your writing, embrace it. Learn from your readers. I only do full length walk throughs because readers have told me I can jump off a cliff if I were to stop that part of the blog. It's so much work, but since that is what people respond to on this site, I not only do it, I do it more in depth, and more thoroughly than my competitors. If that makes sense.

Thanks for the compliment Togel. And please send me a link to your site once you get it going.
Good luck.

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was super
long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I submitted
and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I'm still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any recommendations for rookie blog writers?
I'd definitely appreciate it.

Hi. Lotta years late lol... But what if Mal was right and she's awake and alive in the real world with his children? So's Cobb the one trapped inside his own dream and real world is never shown in the film. My crazy theory suggests that Cobb is sleeping in the real world/life/universe after falling too deep into the dreamworld. Lets picture this:
IRL Cobb and Mal are a happy couple with 2 kids. Mal introduced Cobb into the dream's world years before and they shared a bond that will affect their relationship and the way they build it. At some point, Cobb is the one who discusses with Mal about if his life is real or a dream while driving a car. He goes crazy and decides to drive the car off the road as they were crossing a bridge, trying to awake in the real world, and finally falling down to the water, resulting in both surviving but with Cobb falling into a coma (this can explain hes dreaming from the very first minute of the film, and why he really "awakes" in the shore of a beach). After cheking Cobb's brain function, Docs tell to Mal that he's deep sleeping, in other words, he cant wake up out his dream. Weeks later and without any change in Cobb's state, Mal decides to move him to a "private" hospital in order to get inside his mind and try to explain to him that he's dreaming. Meanwhile, Cobb's coma recreates a new world for him, where they woke up the dream and where Mal is the one who's crazy and obsessed with the idea of waking up. After "years" inside limbo both had doubts about reality, and when they back to "RL" (aka Cobbs coma dream) Mal still doubts theyre awake, and she was right. She remember which real life is. But Cobb's mind is so confused and recreates every event around his own feeling. Mal understands Cobb will never realize they're dreaming and she "suicides", waking up in the process, while Cobb goes deeper inside his dream/reality feeling the blame of what happened and creating a world where his mission is to get his kids back and Mal just lives in his dreams. Hes the hero for the audience here. Hes the one who teach others and have a team of dream intruders. And finally hes the one who knows the rules of inception, because he created it as he created the rest of his own universe. And these rules are unreal because hes living a dream, while Mal is awake with their kids, trying to join forces to end the suffering and turn off the machine that supports Cobb's vital signs.
I know this theory is too risky. But hey, maybe Nolan tried to make the audience think about whats real or whats a dream. And maybe thats why the film ends with the top spinning. After several views of the film I think thats what the end tells to the audience. "Who is dreaming after all?"
