I watched this movie a handful of years ago- and it is time again. I feel it is a "feel good" movie for the modern age. I really enjoyed the slow unfolding of what originally they thought was a nut, was actually the only sane person for mile and miles and miles.... I loved it.

While I loved this one, and THE ONE I LOVE, I've met my match with the Duplass brothers HBO series ROOM 104. For an anthology show, it's dense, challenging, deeply frustrating. Each episode stands alone, and yet, the series gets more 'grrrrrrrrrr factor' as it proceeds. For me, every episode ends with me yelling at the screen & PROMISING I will NOT watch any more of this thing! But, somehow (surely by way of the same Duplass-embedded insanelogic found in the series) --- I find myself in that same spot, watching more. I realize you infrequently tackle TV series. But, even if for your own guilty pleasure. This is the show to watch if you wish to FULLY experience Duplassism!

*SPOILERS*
I was so expecting the movie to either leave it totally ambiguous, or do the typical dark indy thing and leave him not really having the time machine but being crazy. And leaving her with the dark repercussions of that in her life. But, it went the way I was hoping and gave me such a huge smile. Just thinking about it makes me smile.
I had no idea where this movie was taking me beyond that, a very fun ride.
