Hey there Caroline,
Thanks for writing. It looks a little quiet in here! But not anymore!! woot woot. A comment has arrived!!! hahaha.

Such a great thing to read the entire Bible with your kids. I'm sure it's really hard to do! And I thought it was difficult reading Lord of the Rings with kids that age! hahaha. Anyway, kudos to you. Slow and steady wins the race. Thanks for taking me with you on your journey!

Hi, I discovered your site while looking for commentary on the (incredible, fantastic) movie The Lobster. I came over to your Bible section, and started with Ezra, because we've just read this book and Nehemiah. Me and my children (8 and 11) have been on a mission for almost 2 years to read the Bible cover to cover and that's where we are now. Yes, we're not that far in, BUT I only have them 4 nights a week and sometimes we read other texts, AND we have not given up even through Numbers and Chronicles :-)
Anyhow, looking forward to read more of these as so far it (this one on Ezra) has helped with a better overview of the timeline than when our noses are stuck in the text and it all seems to blend a bit...
Cheers!
