I love the Book of Zechariah!!!! I love it mostly for the prophetic words regarding his second coming, but yes, the prophecy relating to the first coming is pretty cool too.

My wife and I just returned from a 10 day trip to the Holy Land, so now when I read those words- JESUS putting his feet down on the Mt. of Olives, which faces the East side of the Old City….WOW!!!!!!

One of my favorite moments while visiting the Garden of Gethsemane, which happens to be on the Mt. of Olives, and just gazing at the view toward the Old City. I believe the Bible says he will enter through the Beautiful Gate, which is right there on the east side facing the Mt. of Olives just across the Kidron Valley. I was ready for him to return on the day I was there, but I know a lot more has to happen before he makes his return appearance.

I’m sure 70 AD was pretty awful, but you ain’t seen nothing yet. Only this time, we interrupt this war to announce, “JESUS has landed!” Only this time he has not come as a lamb, but rather as the Lion of Judah.

Come quickly, Lord JESUS, come quickly!
