It’s his initials. He introduces himself in the first episode, but he kind of mumbles it quickly and all I caught was that his middle name was Aloysius.

And I think that OA is going to stand for “Original Angel.” Both those words were uttered (very portentously) in this episode, but not together.

So it looks like old Dad is really dead after all. Disappointing. I was sure he was going to show up eventually (in this life, not the next one). I wonder if Katun is her dear departed mother?
