Loved this film. Superb acting and a great environment we get thrown into. No explication, no exposition (I’m looking at you, “Paradox”, you dumpster fire), just a demand you sink or swim. Top notch.

I watched this film last night. So funny in a dark way if you don’t mind the zingers flying along with a ton of bullets. Funny, I just mentioned on Discord this film is sort of like Reservoir Dogs and you said the same thing!

Hi there!
I’ll leave just a quick comment for now, but I’ll be back sometime after the holidays to flood your blog with comments. I found your blog after watching Russian Doll, needed some discussions, reviews and such, and ended up lots of close box, mindjob and time travel movies that you recommend to the interested audience. As for you, these are among my favourite types of movies, leaving me with a sense of cathartic confusion, and spinning on in my own head about them for days.

For the quick comment. I’ve seen Free Fire just about a month ago, during a Cillian Murphy binge, and I was constantly thinking: okay, you can stop now, you idiots, look, this moment is perfect to cease fire, or now, or this moment, or -dammit, why do you keep shooting, idiots?! :)) Anyway, as I’ve said, I was on a Cillian-binge, and meant to ask you, if you noticed that 99% of the movies he plays in, are in one way or the other brainy movies, that make you think about what you see, put yourself in the characters’ shoes, and really care about their actions and motivations.
