And why did Jonas call her Evelyn? I was thinking that he orchastrated the whole thing, but they didn’t wrap that up at all. There was so much more I needed explained to me. The same necklaces in his apartment, the display at grand central, how did Jonas know to do all of this. The writing was so cliche and hard to get fully invested. But overall I liked the movie a lot, it will leave me thinking and the scenes were beautiful. Especially the ballet and art show. But I agree, I’m missing too much that I think isn’t there to really analyze this movie.

Okay this movie baffles me. If Dylan knew that Grand Central was the place everything takes place in the end why did he go there after Sarah and Jonas. Clearly Sarah wanted to go with her ex, why doesnt he just let them go. Like if he didnt run after them, Jonas would not have shot him.

I just watched this movie. 20 minutes ago. Maybe. Beautifully boggled. I can get past all of that if somebody can answer my most predominant question, the very last scene...
Dylan is outside. Alive. Rescued the love of his life. Skip ahead to healed, happy, as well as a new father, we see he's gotten passed his fear of flying. Okay awesome congratulations on all fronts!
He's outside and he looks over head and checks his watch. 11:15 no planes looks relieved and that's a wrap. The end.
.....uuuhhhh um excuse me. I genuinely wanna know why that last snippet happened. anybody?

First of all, I must have to agree with this movie critic's analysis in principle, nevertheless, I think that he is looking too deep for everything that this flick is not. Like I mentioned it from the start, I found what I was looking for: a cinematography display of technical stuff well rendered, a few minutes of good entertainment, a nice piece of ass performance by baby blue eyes, Teresa Palmer, which is mainly acceptable.
Now, if you or one wants to jump into some type of esoteric analysis, the elephant in the room is the dead which should give you enough material to try to understand the relationship of time and space which was thrown in the mix as a point of reference to justify the movie's "raison d'être".

The cops in the movie comes off as the worst.

So a bad cop falls for a singer, tells singers family that the man the singer is dating is a bad guy, kills both of them and gets shot himself. His friends cover it up and blame singers lover.

While Dylan is running away one of the cops who stopped him tries to shoot him in the back. Dylan gets shot by the ghost of dirty cops past, after a long dramatic pause the police finally shoot Jonas at exactly 2:22. Dylan collapses (because he took a bullet in the back) and Sarah holds him in her arms for a full minute (they show the clock change time) while no one does any first aid on him.

And lastly as the camera pulls away showing the main characters (one dead and another bleeding from a gunshot) laying on the floor the police stand around chatting.
