Question, did Rose still like Liam at the end of the movie or was she only concerned about the people that might die? “Like” might not be the right word but she seemed to trust him. I couldn’t get if she still trusted him despite what she found out and that’s why she was calling for him or if she was calling to him for comfort. His struggle and redemption were interesting for sure but curious about how she processed her own realization.

nope. still worried. think about it every single night before bed and I even say a prayer for the fictional fish in this movie… hoping and praying that they made it out of this horror hellscape alive.

the death ray can only travel through the air, not water or the ground. there, problem solved. its a ridiculous point to worry about. Its like trying to figure out why ghosts can pass through walls but walk without going through the floor. stop worrying about it.

Not sure if this plot hole fix might work but the fish and such not dying is because he only sees himself harmful and wrong to only humans, hence talking about sucking the life out of his victim in his diary.
On that note, I have to say that if the plot is that aliens caused the change in them, it ultimately didn’t help anyone. Instead it caused more death and would have been better for them to just kill Liam with the lightning. To help one person feel better about her sisters death, possibly helping her feel like she changed Liam into a good person; and yet the trauma of knowing that she also caused more deaths. I’m trying to say it ultimately didn’t help the human race learn a lesson and instead caused a lot of grief for dead family members and also caused her more grief though saving her

In my community they just removed all the water from a lake for a project and I didn’t find any fish or living things. Believe it or not, in some lakes there is no life

Liam killed himself because of his psychology.

His inability to kill Jane after Hollywood magic.

The amnesia making him forget.

He is and was a serial killer after all. They perceive the world different from us, and maybe that is why Liam was so affected by lightning.

I kept half expecting Jane to have captors syndrome and be unable to perceive Liam killing the people around him, due to a break, but it became apparent that he did in fact possess a power.

Inward peering in to Liam, he reached a level of self manifestation.
