Glad you enjoyed it. I understand what you mean. And yet, I think plenty of books in this vein have happy endings. Heck even Girl With All The Gifts was a happy ending of a sort. I think maybe the tone might be more what you are referring to? Anyway, glad someone listened to me for once. Geeze. Hahaha.

Do you have any books that you’ve gotten into lately? I’ve traded in my podcasting time and instead now am listening to books. Which, I have to admit, I’ve been fairly disparaging of. But it’s a much better use of my driving time than to podcast that time away. Big life change for me and now I can’t keep enough books on my list.

Probably the only negative comment that I have would be that the ending was too upbeat for a book in this genre. Kind of threw me off guard. But that is a small complaint. I do think there a lot of directions a sequel could go, and it’d be interesting to see how it opens up the world.

I’m about 2 eps in, and just haven’t pushed through. I hear that it becomes a rocket sled at around ep5. But I just haven’t gotten there yet. Yeah, I would love to give away a night to that show. If I could just get past the massive pedantic down talking in the opening. hahahah.

I have/had high hopes for it though. I’ll finish it. And I’m sure I’ll build a freaking huge diagram talking about the characters and all their connections, their sleeves, and what not. hahaha.
