Nice shot at atheists. Most scientists especially cosmologists, astronomers & quantum physicists really are idiots. I'm quite sure a genius who uses the word "literally" twice in the first two lines to commence his dreadfully sophomoric, error-laden, exegesis on The Frame merits cognoscenti status in addition to the obligatory Mensa membership. Once you come down from the opium of the masses and your pitiful plinth, you may finally be humbled by a truly deep dive off a cliff into eternal nothingness. - Non Servium

Ultimately, it is God writing our scripts with the theme of redemption, salvation and free will. But, as Shakespeare said the world is our stage and we are the actors. One way to look at life as a game and how you choose to play, honestly, humble, reactive, dominant, etc.

My interpretation: the story of the Frame held inside the mind of creator, a scenarist of two TV shows, one about paramedic, another about thief. The second story is about to come to its gruesome end, but creator’s mind just can’t let go the character of the thief. Author keeps thinking of this character even when writes scenario about paramedic. It creates unexpected connections of both stories in the mind of author. Characters start living their own life and even try to save each other. But both of them are prisoners of the Frame, the actual frame of a movie screen. They can’t change their fates, the frame literally imprisons one of them. But they were saved with another type of the art, the music. The same or similar song can connect impressions about different unrelated subjects in a mind of a listener. So it’s a bridge between two shows, allowing one of the characters to live inside the other show. In real world as a reminiscence in the mind of watchers when they listen to similar music theme. And literally alive in a mind of creator.
There are also two interesting things in a movie worth mentioning: one is the black oil which is simply the ink of an author’s typewriter. Another is the devil. I’m not sure about it, but I think it is literally a devil in author’s mind. Because you can’t create without a God or Devil inside you.

Really no one came up with the idea of string theory vs. Chaos Theory? I mean what is the room with the typewriter in it rolls of thread. The movie is definitely about heaven and hell are good and evil or however you want to describe. She is always in white her show is called Urban hope. He is always in Black especially after he decides to take the bad job. He goes from a white tank top to a redshirt for one scene and then he's wearing black once the drug job starts. In the back of the semi there are six barrels filled with ink. There are six robbers if you include Alex. This is probably one of the more important parts of the film in my opinion. An easier way to explain it so that people may understand Alex would be in what would be considered limbo or purgatory. Maybe he's heading towards hell. When he takes the bad job he is definitely heading towards hell that's why he's always in Black that's why there's only 6 barrels filled with ink in the truck. While all this is going on Sam is always in white her show is urban hope she left her bad life behind is in a good place either heading towards heaven or their. She sees the good in Alex and believes he belongs there. But his Alex takes the bad job he heads further away. When he saves the family a good deed he brings himself closer. No one mentions that he does not shoot his friend he's the only one who doesn't die on the drug job. But if you're paying attention he was a half decent guy through the entire movie. But not good enough because there was a barrel for him if you buy into the six barrels six bad guys. How could you think that could be a coincidence with a director who is so intent on every shot being so perfect. As well as his clothing changing from white to black not being discussed and then in the most important place where their lives are being written it's all string or thread. Chaos Theory everyone picked up on and no one picked up on string theory. I need to read up more on this Theory to make an intelligent comment. There are also about four times in the movie I'll have to recount where Alex is tapping his thumb as she's humming connecting the two and Things fall like the violin I believe some keys when he sitting on the bridge. My knowledge of religions and Theory are keeping me from fully understanding the film. But I can't believe so many people miss so much important stuff on a site that's reviewing the movie. What were your 7 pages of notes on they call it a fiddle you call it a violin. IMBD actually make the mistake of saying the director made the mistake of having Alex tape her real name into the computer that man should be fired instantly. I'm glad that you noticed how it actually happened. In the end I believe Alex sacrifices himself for Sam by jumping out the window to his death if need be and that is why in the last scene she is able to touch him and feel him because it brings him to where she is heaven or whatever you want to call the two places heaven and hell I don't think it really matters much good and bad light and dark. The symbolisms all the same. Why do you keep referring to the guy in the hospital is Alex's father when it is explained in the film that his parents were killed in Guatemala during a civil war. And then it's explained that Alex has no one and that's why he's in debt to the Gang for taking him in it is never discussed that the old man dying in the bed is related to Alex and anyway shape or form. In his room you also see stringed instruments the fiddle the guitar only strengthening my string theory Theory. I think he was a bad guy who repented because he's always cast in white and Light and has a good outlook on life. This is the character I understand the least. They never explain who he is to Alex. I would love to hear a response from somebody who knows anything about chaos and string theory. I believe Alex believes in chaos theory and is taught that that is not the way of the world. He does good deeds saves people and in turn saves himself. There is mention of her getting pregnant when she was younger they never explain the bad deed that she had done when she was younger. I believe possibly an abortion which is very against almost every religion but through repenting and living a good life she's earned her way into heaven a good World instead of a bad however you want to look at it. I believe the ink is casting them all to Hell on Alex's side. Black being bad white being good arkbar whatever his name is comes across as the devil in Alex's world. And with Alex being the only one who made any true sacrifice other than the man in the hospital is saved from being Inked out or sent to a bad place. I think the ink concept maybe because of his prior movie it could just be black goop indicating that they are no longer in purgatory but have been sent to hell. The holes in my ideas are that the paramedic driver that works with Sam had sex with a girl and couldn't remember her name when she saw him in the diner. And does not come across as a very good person so why is he in the good World her good place or Heaven. In the beginning Alex tells his friend to go in the other semi truck and not with him and then leads the police away from the others he's dressed in black for the heist but strips down to a white tank top I believe this represents Alex sacrificing himself for his friend brought him closer to the light. With movies like these I wonder if the actors know the entire day of what the director is trying to convey or if the director keeps the ambiguity from everyone. I would love to have a conversation with the director and his wife. The fact that this movie was made on a 350000 dollar budget is beyond my comprehension. Movies like this are great because you can watch it a thousand times looking for things that you had missed I'm in no way saying I'm right but I'm very surprised at some of the things I saw that no one else mentions. The biggest mess is the spools of thread where the stories are typed. In the barrels of anchor black goop on the semi truck. Wouldn't wear the stories are being written be the most important symbolism. I'm going to re-watch this movie right now and see what I missed because I've only seen it once and I have not taken 10 pages of notes I'm just going off of memory. So excuse any thing that I may have gotten wrong maybe there's Five Barrels that are white with the pink inside the others are all blue this five or six barrels that are white I need to receive that scene because the guy with his family going fishing there were four in the car and then Alex maybe they're symbolising a place for for good people. But I don't believe that's the case I think it's what I originally said about a barrel of hell for each of the robbers. Because going in and just intending to kill the drivers of the trucks without quarter sames like an automatic ticket to hell that one could not repent for.
