1. Why didn’t the police simply bust in and arrest “the girl” either time she was physically present talking and even sleeping with Sal? What w as with all the hacking through proxies when they simply could’ve arrested her in the room?

2. Why did she point a gun at Sal after each meeting even before she knew he was a detective?

Totally,
There were aspects of the movie that delighted me. Aspects that were so much a Black Mirror episode that I almost couldn't differentiate them. The ability to see a person's meta-data on the fly isn't too far from what we have today. With your IP address that logged in with and with your name I bet I could find you without much effort. (Promise I won't try! hahaha. But just making a point.)

And while I found the technology to be a bit poorly represented (Mr. Robot being a MUCH MUCH better representation of future tech, but I digress) I found the ideas and the stories extremely important. The logical next steps of the progression we are on are well voiced here in this movie. I had fun with it. Definitely as interesting as any Twilight Zone, Black Mirror, or tech movie I've seen in a while. For sure. Definitely raises the clarion call of a warning going forward.

Thanks for swinging by, I'm certain that there are a ton of movies I've covered here on the site that you would have fun with like Anon. Take a gander here: https://taylorholmes.com/category/cinema/thinc-approved/ and see what you can find that is interesting.

Thanks for the comment and for swinging through.

Hi Taylor,

I just watched the filmand truely enjoyed it as I see it as bringing to surface a very serious future issue of the invasion of privacy and this movie should be leading of example of what could happen in future. I just watched it as I was recommended it by my boss and was shocked to see the reviews for it post watching. It is such an important film and it's delivery way slow yes but to deliver that satisfying ending where the fixer demonstrated that all of what they are doing is for anonymonitity and privacy something the world no longer has and what is gradually happening in this world. This very comment is stored as metadata and can be tracked as part of my internet access and use. An untold invasion of privacy. The movie scared the shit out of me and I found it amazing.
