Are you saying American Animals was too far afield from its historical underpinnings to be a “documentary”, or are you saying that this never happened? Because this thing definitely did happen… and heck, Lipka and Reinhard actually are in the movie. So I’m a little unclear as to what it is you are saying here. Maybe you just mean you want the “documentary” to be in normal “documentary” voice over style?? Clarification would help.
