I had no idea you even had this up. I don’t recall how I got to watching Noe’s films but this was the first one I watched. I agree it’s not something I would ever watch again. Most films and movies start to blend into one another for me after a certain period of time but this one I remember vividly. Why was I even talking about Noe? Oh yeah, because of Midsommar. Another film I’d never watch again for obvious reasons. But if you found the visuals and noise hard to stomach on this one, don’t watch Into the Void! I actually had to take a breather after watching that one. Usually I can just flip something else on but nope, I needed a serious break! Ok, going to shut up for a bit now as I’m taking over the comment section everywhere in my extremely verbose way. A breather, if you will....

Totally, 100% this. I agree. It is a painful movie to attempt. And not in a slightly car-crashy fun sort of a way either. It is willingly painful. Like, shoot the dog, then the infant sort of painful. Not my idea of a good time.

I finished the movie some years ago. Watched it once, and that was more than enough. The sensory issues are just too difficult to subject yourself to a second time. And you are right not to recommend this movie to anyone. I remember being nauseous because of the use of sound and camera movements. It's like some sort of twisted experiment. And not enjoyable in any way.
