I just watched the movie on Netflix with high expectations given the Sundance acknowledgments. Sun dance usually is a hood filter for the types of movies I like but not in this case. I enjoyed the entire ride until the ending. Completely disappointing. It was set up perfectly for multiple different possibilities and basically nothing happened. Kind of like the writer tried really hard and just gave up. Worst thing about this is that I suggested to my wife we watch it because it looks good. It’s not easy to get egg off your face.

@Lisa, I know right? What happened? Why? Who? If they had only given us one more scene. It’s like the editor fell asleep at the switch and voila, now we have this. It’s too bad too, because the build up was brilliant. If only it could have paid off.

I just finished this movie and have no idea what I watched. I can’t even figure out what genre it’s supposed to be. Like you said, had they revealed some big evil intent beyond selling time shares, at least then I might have seen the point of this film. But as it stands, it’s relatively pointless.
