@Lisa, you made some valid points, especially regarding the one about Skyler teaming up with Milton instead of Russell and hence transforming the dead-Milton loop to the dead-Russell loop, meaning to say my question from above is answered, so yeah, thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong, so according to the in-movie rule, the one person who is being killed off on Tuesday also gets his/her memory reset, as evident in both the dead-Milton loop (where Milton is not aware of anything that has looped before on Tuesday) and the dead-Russell loop (where Russell is also clueless about any looped events on Tuesday). This explains why Skyler is always in the know no matter which loop she's in. However, near the end of the movie when Milton tricks Skyler into killing Milton himself, having faked Russell's death. So according to the same rule, shouldn't the loop (currently dead-Russell loop) be transformed back to the dead-Milton loop again? Or is this the point in the movie where the dash cam trick that Milton employs comes into play to keep him in the loop (no puns intended)?

I thought it was the initial spilling of blood that causes the whole time loop thing to happen by the Indian curse on the land or whatever that Milton finds in the books. So I’m not sure anyone is stuck before the 3 go together to the lodge and kill Milton. It’s just that Milton doesn’t realize he’s been killed countless times before Skyler decides to try a different approach to escape and kills Russell instead thinking Milton is smarter and can break the cycle. Then the other thing that irks me a bit is the car continues to log days even though the people reset. That plus Milton is able to remove the camera and make a recording but if everything truly resets wouldn’t that stuff reset as well? But then we also have the bodies piling up which is weird. Its definitely a fun romp if you don’t think about some of the technicalities after and Skylar definitely gets what she deserves to have to endure it all over again but with now 2 people who want her dead!

Thanks Taylor, I know you will find this one interesting. Just one question though, how does the (initial) loop where Milton gets killed off repetitively fit into the main loop where Russell gets killed off by Milton and Skyler? Different loops on different days? Or Russell having given up on killing Milton and hence breaking Loop 1? Sorry, my small mind just couldn't wrap around this little conundrum, haha.
