The so called doctor, also baffling. Why would they give her the run of the place to conduct her little crazy experiments (since she clearly also must have been an inmate) and why did they even put up with it when they could have easily overpowered her when they weren’t sedated. Oh, and the earth flashback stuff like the conversation on the train that went nowhere plus the dog in the stream situation? One very odd film. I don’t think I liked it.
