Great article and movie. This really helped me understand the plot.

There’s one thing that didn’t make sense to me maybe because it could be a plot hole. If the rides weren’t time loops, then why does the radio program and dispatcher calls repeat exactly?

Thank you for this review. I just now finished watching this film on Amazon Prime. I became drawn more and more into this movie and before it was over, I had to read what reviewers might have said about the story. I myself had a six year relationship with a woman I had fallen for, end last month. Similar to the characters in this film, I’d see her but once a month, for a n hour at a time. The woman I’d known decided to return to her country of origin when the Corona Virus was becoming serious in the US. Were I to choose a fantasy world, I would like one where I could eternally see my Persephone once a year for 20 minutes at a time.

Unfamiliar with Greek mythology (other than a tad), I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. And despite Hades’ tying up the loose ends for Harris at the end of the movie, I still was clueless as to what just happened and couldn’t wait to get online to figure it out. I think I have a good grasp on theory 1, but the rest eludes me. Is there a good book/website out there that you would recommend to better understand the Greek mythology one needs to know to understand this movie?
