Thank you as always Taylor, such a great list. I have a recommendation. I just watched The Platform (El hoyo in Spanish, since the movie is Spanish), I have been dying to watch it and finally Netflix got it. I think you would kind of appreciate it, weird as the movie is. It’s almost a closed box movie and I know you liked those. Notice the almost. It’s difficult to explain the movie but it’s a direct critic to today’s consumerism. I would love to read a review from you so yeah, give it a try!

I remember feeling utterly demoralized for a bit right after watching it some years ago. It makes Blindness from your list, look like a stroll in the park, really. In fact, I think in terms of bleakness or hopelessness, this one ranks alongside These Final Hours (2013). Ya, matey, it was that bad, for me anyways.
