No comments on this one yet? Wow. Anyway, do you really think Quynh was there to torment Booker? I wasn’t really sure of the point of that scene and I thought that possibly Andy and the rest of the gang finally found her and rescued her from the sea since Nile was sensing her as she hadn’t met her yet and possibly they figured out her location. But I don’t get why she would go after Booker unless she really is just insane and wants revenge for him shooting Andy. I mean, they’ve never met before so she really doesn’t have a reason to go see him. I guess we will find out when there’s a sequel! The part of the plot that didn’t jive for me is Copely setting them up in the first place. He had all the maps and the history showing how their interventions improved things for the world so it didn’t make sense he would turn them in to a crazy pharma bro to be cut up and studied. It only took Nile 2 seconds to convince him he was wrong so I felt the plot was a bit thin here. His character just wasn’t evil enough to do what he did and since he knew about the super long lives they live he might have had a clue that it wasn’t something they could pass on to random people to help them because they probably would have done it themselves if they could. But I enjoyed the film overall.
