FYI, I just got an email from Peacock saying you can watch this for free all weekend. I did sign up for a trial to watch it myself a few weeks back. I’m guessing this is for the USA, not sure about other countries.

I admittedly haven’t read the book but I was curious about the show so I signed up for a free trial and binged away. I enjoyed it but I have some questions and maybe it’s because I missed something. First off, aging. Why is there no one old in this show? I mean anyone that looks older than 40ish. I don’t recall anything explaining this. Is it covered in the book? Even the ones attached to Indra do not look old and neither does Mond even though it’s alluded to that she’s old and dying. And Bernard. I don’t recall where they explain exactly what happened to his embryo. Again, it’s alluded to the fact that something is wrong with him but I’m not clear on what. Plus in the beginning when he touches the worker that has died he gets a rush of feelings but later on it seems to just wear off? I don’t recall this ever really being explained either. But overall I enjoyed the show. I definitely should have read the book beforehand because maybe the stuff I’m questioning was covered? Oh, I also forgot this. If no one can become a mother but they have tons of sex all the time I’m assuming they are either engineered not to reproduce or are given some kind of birth control but yet the director and John’s mom are able to create a baby. I assume he left her behind because she was pregnant but it’s never explored much. I’m sure I’m going to hit post and I will remember some more questions but that’s it for now. I’m going to see if I can download a copy of the book!
