Daniel -
so glad that you find this little home away from home! There are hundreds and hundreds of movies here that play in this space. Closed Box movies. Indie thrillers. Time travel chaos. Lots and lots of upside down crazy mind jobs here!

Now, as to your theory... let me get this straight. You knew he was dead. And this is your theory? Let me wrap my head around this one. Are you saying you think that the creators of the archive are stealing this dead guy's ideas to use them for their real world robots? Or... are you saying, in the fake world of Archive, the robot company was wanting to steal them? Either way, yeah, I think that something like that was going on. Maybe? Makes sense that they were monitoring his side work in order to use them for their own ends. Maybe? Good question.

Two quick things:

1) I stumbled on this site thanks to COVID, and I appreciate your reviews & explanations, as I've basically used this site's recommendations to find cerebral/thriller indie films to stream during the whole everything-is-shut-down crisis we live in. So- in all seriousness- thank you for the recommendations!

2) Regarding "Archive", it occurred to my halfway through that he was the dead one, but that the whole reason for being provided the archive service by his employer was a chance to learn about robotics without the mess about having to pay him for it. The give him a motivation ("dead" wife), the virtual resources, and a setting with the right balance of pressure (boss wants results; they're coming to claim his work) and loneliness to make it happen.

Your thoughts?

OK, I'm a bit hungover and its been a weird stressful week with not enough sleep. Just put this on to unwind to with a bottle of wine and the cat on my lap. Didn't see the ending coming, but feel I should have. Those last 2 minutes, WHOAH!
