Hey, Seylan made it, right? I assume so. This would be pretty much the ONLY time having ‘internet connection issues’ would be ♥THE BEST♥! When she has her initial zoom disconnect, I did see something falling/blurry from the wall…. I assumed it was some evil stuff, but maybe if the rope binding them was as simple as pipe (data), that was Seylan’s ticket out. Lesson: High speed internet may also contain traces of demon!☺

I watched this last night and thought it was great. My son actually introduced me to horror videos like this as he showed me one that was super creepy uploaded in 2 or 3 minute parts maybe a year or so ago and I also find the scariest stuff is not gory at all. I also learned the term “jump scare” from him from him playing his video games. It’s perfect for the era of the pandemic!

Fun movie. Quickly capitalizing on something to which we all can relate. Also horror is probably the best genre for this. The lead up to Jemma and Haley clearly wanting to hug each other and settling for that annoying 2020 elbow bump is the real horror.

Host is not original as it’s basically Paranormal Activity: Zoom Edition. And it’s nowhere nearly well-made and compelling as Searching (2018). But it’s hella fun and quick to point. Just the right runtime, as Taylor said.

On the attempting to click and join part. I too had the thought that someone is going to produce a Bandersnatch-like spin on something like this, where you’ll be one of the friends in the boxes, trying to help them survive.
