Yes, it does! I think it’s possibly the mish mash of genres. I’m not sure where this show is heading as there are so many different things going on but I love how all the episodes are so very different from one another and tackle topics very relevant to today with magic and monsters mixed in! American Gods is really out there. The novel is fantastic and I like the show as well.

I don’t know why, but this series in a way reminds of American Gods. Maybe it’s the magic, the cinematography…. the fact that there is deep character analysis of multiple characters. I love when a show dares to expand beyond a small character circle.
