On the whole it was an enjoyable movie; it started strong, kept a good pace and kept me interested to see what was going to happen next. That being said the end credits were still rolling when I navigated my way here because the ending was so… WTF???? I’m surprised that no one here mentioned that they drove in a random direction, went into a random gas station bathroom and that one happened to have another magic trans dimensional mirror in it. What are the chances of that happening? And the radio broad casts of “thank-you for the technology”… well if she was replaced then when did they donate this stuff? Why did devon2 show up when he did? Like yeah Devon1 wrote a note to Devon 2 because of his paranoia, but that doesn’t really explain why Devon2 would want revenge. If anything it would keep him further away from the whole situation. I would have liked to see the ending with Devon and Leena being knocked out and dragged off into another mirror world by the original 4 friends, leaving the implication that they were in an alt dimension for the whole movie.

I agree with Jake that the ending was forced and they could have gotten the same effect by either implying that the Leena there was not the original Leena or they could have just had 1 or 2 clones(?) Stalking them at the end.

TERRIBLE, UNNEEDED PLOT TWIST ENDING screws the movie. What was the point really? Totally goes against the laws of the movie that have already been established. Plus….WHO THE HECK thought leaving a window OPEN after you just go through a whole sequence of showing Noel beef up security was a good idea

Loved it until the ending, which is why I found this thread. Just a stupid stupid ending….worth watching as a whole imho but stop before she goes into the gas station and call it a day…

“Your” side of the mirror is your Earth^1. Which ever you enter from first us your home Earth.
Devon^2 is the one that came back to the house. He had the recording he left himself.
Leena^1 being replaced by leena^47…Maybe. Obviously Leena^47 is in the car with Devon^2. We may only assume replaced because that was what had happened before whereas this movie doesnt follow its own known rules and makes new as it needs to…or heck even wants to but are they new rules? We will have to see in the sequel.
Hopefully there is more to the occurrence of Noel^2 being able to enter Earrh^1 (seemingly with out much issue and knowing the “whole” story. Noel^1 may have figured out how to do more with the portal. So.
Mewhere someone has found this mirror and is using it too. Somewhere someone has set up “portal police” but that is for the 3rd sequel…sorry the 4th. 3rd us more of a prequel. I know because I have been through the mirror.

Small correction. It wasn’t Josh 2 who told Devon 2 about the lawsuit Devon 2 must have received the same phone call.
