I just loved this film. I was particularly moved by the way the captain picked up the trash no matter where he went and what kind of carnage ensued. He loved his country and it broke his heart to see it flattened like this. Also when one of the guys says he can call a friend to have the Americans send in an air strike and captain says no because they have already destroyed enough and won’t be around for the rebuild. So this movie really touched my heart from the perspective of those who we are supposedly “liberating.” Plus the ultimate message that this was all for family really hit home.
