Plus she just randomly leaves the baby and runs about town while baby is naked in a freezing shack? This doesn’t seem right. So I’m glad you watched this and tried to make some sense of it. I think her mother died when she was very young and she was quite disturbed after that from spending so much time alone. The snakes and tumors could be in her mind. I agree this film isn’t for everyone, not just because of the disturbing scenes but it is very slow moving at points. But I thought it was worth discussing.
