Greetings,
This is Manolo Munguía.
Thank you so much for watching and writing about our humble film "h0us3". It is a real pleasure to see you all liked it so much.
I specially enjoy reading about the IT background Taylor has, because he fully understands and agrees with the risks of IT security nowadays. We´re not prepared for it in most of the cases. We are still so vulnerable. And that´s why cybersecurity is so important in our future. Here´s an advice (not mine): If you have kids wondering what to study, tell them to get their hands into coding, encrypting and cybersecurity. Experts in these areas will have a huge demand in a near future.
And for the rest of the readers: Please change your passwords. Starting by the two ones at your home network: The wifi one labeled under your router and the admin/admin default one to enter your router configuration.
                                            (•‿•)

As techies I think the people who were in the house would know but maybe we are just supposed to take it as open ended since the film ends as soon as the hacker lady says she put it on her phone. I am not tech savvy enough to know what happens in that kind of situation with a text.

Right. So what happens if the phone is destroyed? Does it still get sent or does it remain a draft forever thus saving all of them from the impending doom? Maybe we aren’t meant to know and the ending is just a big cliffhanger! I just think that it was an important plot point and also, what about the cameras?

Yes. I was wondering how quickly people would comment on that in the comments. I guess immediately is my answer! hahah. I totally think she set off the apocalypse. But it only got set into motion when she left the house, and connected to cell again... no?

I absolutely believe the app was real for the sake of the film. But remember when the woman goes into the bathroom and sends the text off about her making a fortune from it by using it to see into the future in casinos or for the lotto or whatever. Do you think this is what sets off the future events and end of the world until the 2 guys claim it’s all a joke so it winds up not happening? That’s what I thought. Also interesting was the relationship between the 2 main guys. I mean the one was obviously heading for divorce at the end by covering for his friend. He valued the friendship more than his wife who was very angry they would play such a cruel joke even though it wasn’t really a joke. Anyway, I can’t wait to read the interview and hopefully get some clarity on those plot points and the ending. I really loved this little film. I loved that it was based off a very real situation, the insurance files.
