I had totally forgotten about this film until reading this write up. I watched it some time ago and it was making me feel like I have misremembered things as well. I have this one clear memory only from when I was about 3 years old and I was sitting on the steps in our apartment in Queens and I had one of those Holly Hobby record players with the plastic records and I lost one inside the slats on the stairs. Now this happened more than 40 years ago. Why this memory? I’ve also read memories are not really of the actual event but more like memories of a memory where they can get degraded or things added over time so they are quite unreliable. Anyway, I’m going back into the abyss I felt while watching this film!

Hi, Taylor! So glad you finally watched "Mandela Effect." I feel so validated! :) Loved what you wrote about it. And, no, you didn't dox me because I do indeed have a very generic name. Besides, I've been stalker-free since you posted this. I, however, DO go with the happy ending :) Although I can totally understand your theory of Brendan's growing psychosis.
