I watched this last night and enjoyed it. The only issue is that when she hastily makes a fake profile doesn’t she realize that the name will have no other internet tracks and he can easily use a screenshot of her to scan the net as to who she really is? And of course as a journalist she will have tons of internet tracks. Seems like a bit of a plot hole or lack of foresight but then again she does find out the hard way later on that this is easily done. I read this was based on a true story as well. I wonder if the real journalist went to Amsterdam as well? As a side story, years ago not long after 9/11 my mom had some bank fraud happen on her account. It turns out her card was used to purchase an e ticket from Amsterdam to somewhere in the Middle East! We assumed this was terrorism related but by the time the bank found out the ticket had already been used. Scary stuff!! It does seem she gets emotionally hooked in by this guy due to her life circumstances and she never should have been allowed to do this as she was not stable enough to really carry it off.
