Alien Code (Amazon Prime) is (not to give away too much) a sort of loop. Some reviews were poor which made me check it out and I loved it.

Very steeped in the philosophy of time as a dimension.

Nice list. Thanks. I’ve just seen “The Fare” and absolutely loved it. Enjoyed both of your articles on that movie as well. Suggestions for this list: “Source code” and “see you yesterday”. The 2006 anime movie “The girl who leapt through time” is also a fav of mine and possibly fits the criteria.

I agree with your list, and there’s several there I’ve not heard of and will endeavour to track down. I loved Triangle, Russian Doll, Edge of Tomorrow, Palm Springs and The Endless (which presents some particularly cruel time loops). I thought Arq was OK. Groundhog Day is Groundhog Day :)

great list. Sure are some out of sight here (that I don´t remember in the first place), but anyway : a list that gives you the chance to visit some movies that are in enless list of “to watch” but don´t make it to the end. Thanks as always.

Well, after thinking about it for a while… hrmmm. The premise of this list is Groundhog Day looper movies. The idea is that the day resets… the events of the day reoccur and there is a single person that sees that the day has repeated.

Predestination loops. No one is going to argue with you there. But so do a million time travel movies. And they all sort of loop in the same way… a person moves back in time, forwards in time… etc. etc. Versions of themselves continue looping backwards and forwards through time in ad finitum. But this list is not that. You are right though. 1000% right.

I have to think about this one some more.

What the…????? The NUMBER ONE endless loop movie is not even ON THE LIST! It’s “Predestination” of course, and its exclusion inexplicable and inexcusable. It’s like leaving The Exorcist off of a list of top exorcism movies! That said, I thank you for suggesting a few time loop movies I haven’t seen.
