Of course it isn’t. I have, once or twice, been known to exaggerate. My personal favorite animated movie? Does Tron count? No no no. What about ready player one? Hahaha. That was basically 100% animated. The distinction these days is so arbitrary.

I’m going to think about this one! Favorite animated movie. Hrmmm. Definitely isn’t up. But it is really good.

Too 100 AMERICAN movies of all time, you say? So be it. These Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli were released here by Disney for what it’s worth. They’re in English!

I don’t think anyone said it was the best animated movie of all time. Spoiler alert – I believe that there is another animated movie further up the list… just saying.

But you do know, this is an American list, there’s no way Miyazaki is making it on here. So yeah… sorry about that.

But best animated movie of all time? Nah. Top ten, sure. But I’ll give #1 to a Miyazaki film, most any of them, but particularly to my personal favorite, Howl’s Moving Castle.
Oh, but Up certainly gets you in that opening. And then the flying house. And the hilariously talking dog. And the gorgeous fictional version of Angel Falls. Yada yada I get it. Good movie.
