Come on, you gotta love Rocky. This film always reminds me of my Dad who is a huge boxing fan. We weren’t a sports family except for boxing which was always on when I was a kid. So I love this film and the sequel but after that it starts to get a bit tired so let’s pretend they ended it with Rocky II. Plus it’s got that iconic stair scene which has probably been spoofed a million times over so yes, this movie set the bar for all sport related films that came after. Plus the music gets you pumped! Nothing like a great soundtrack to accompany an iconic film.
