I liked that all the obstacles set in his path were more of a test than his actual confrontation with the Green Knight. He loses his horse, his belt, everything but it’s all just a test to see what he does about it. The Green Knight told him that in one year he could either cut off his head or give him a cut on the cheek and he was brave by removing the enchantment so he lives at the end. I thought this was pretty clear and not at all confusing and the blurry montage before he gets cut is just him running through his life if he chooses to run away a coward.

So I definitely enjoyed this one but I can see how it’s not for everyone. The whole thing is filmed like some sort of drug trip which I found pretty cool.
