Agree, Nancy. He just knocked him unconscious after pumping him for information. He wasn’t a stone cold killer like the rest! Plus, we see him shot and knocked into the water. Unlikely he survived but maybe? Lots of loose ends that could be made into a 2nd season.

Just finished Squid Game! Awesome! about your writeup, I don't believe the detective killed the fat VIP. When the guards and front man found him they said he was still alive.

It certainly can set up a sequel and a prequel. How did front man and brother get into all this? Did he become front man after he won the game in 2015?

The ending? why is the character so obsessed to find out more about Squid game? And not just go on with his life and do good?

Also, the story makes me think, I'm not going to owe any money or be in debt. I will live a life without owing anything to anybody. But there will always be people in poor situations. Having money makes you secure. but not happy. that's why giving to less fortunate people is a great way to find happiness.

I finally buckled down and finished this last night. Loved the twist with the old man being the creator of the game-I never saw that coming! When he compared the contestants to horses on a track I thought for sure 456 would snap and kill him but he remained pure in that aspect. Seems like the end was a set up for a possible 2nd season?
