I tried to get through it twice and just couldn’t do it. I think it was too brutal even for me combined with the repetition of that brutality. Reading the ending I now know I wouldn’t have felt better watching it all the way through! Chris and I agree on something! Alert the press! Ha.

I attempted to watch it months back. I guess I had the same basic response as Lisa. When I got to what I’ll call ‘loop #3’, I just bailed. Wasn’t feeling a single good thing about it. For me – W E I R D. But not the good kind.

The repetition of them going through pretty much the same horror over and over was just too much for me. I knew there would ultimately be a point but I just couldn’t hold out to get there. To first lose their little girl and then repeatedly endure the vileness of the trio was just too extra for my taste. This movie just made me feel badly. I’m not a prude to violence in film but there was just something about this one that went over a certain line for me. But at least now I know what the point of it was. Sort of! Yeah we see each other and now we die or stay in the endless realm of Hell? Yikes.

Great review and explanation! And it does fit the Thinc criteria!! Thanks again for viewing the film. I thought it was worthwhile and had a deep meaning. It still was….disturbing..but hey that’s me!!!
