He was so grief stricken and wanted to connect these pieces so badly, he did even though they did not fit. We never see who trashed the room or leaves the tape. Maybe he always had it since it was his wife? Maybe he hallucinated the whole thing. But you have to admit there are just too many loose ends here and where the heck does Alice go? Did he really run someone over at the end? Who did the intrusions and were they related to the missing women or not? So many questions! We wanted you to watch this to try and make sense of it. Certainly not because it’s going to win any awards. It’s almost like a student horror film with a couple of really good actors. I was confused as well to see Chris Sullivan here but it’s not his first stint playing a character that’s not a big softie like on This Is Us. He actually played a pretty gruff character before that on a series about the early days of surgery and medical procedures and the name eludes me right now but I’ll look it up. Anyway, I found the setting interesting as I was a big fan of the boards back in the day. I think in 99 I just had gotten DSL and could download a movie in about 24 hours! Ha! A song in like 20 minutes whereas now we are used to getting all this stuff instantly!
