I felt sympathy for Chamberlain after watching it. Yes, he made some very bad calls and ultimately we wound up at war but it’s easy to judge after the fact and not take into consideration what he was attempting to do to not go to war with an insane person. I didn’t mind the fictional characters put in to help aid the story along because the bones of it are factual. I read up on the facts after to separate the fiction from reality. It’s a good film and definitely worth a watch if you are a history buff.
