Also, I don’t know why but this show reminds me a little bit of Devs. Maybe because you mentioned it possibly not having a very happy ending and at least for me, the ending of Devs was anything but happy. Also because there is stuff going on that even the employees are not aware of or why they are even doing what they are doing. Devs had this going on as well. In fact in Severance I don’t think these chipped people are doing any meaningful work at all but I’m interested to understand the scary numbers.

I agree that Mark and Helly will somehow connect on the outside and try to get free or take down the company.

Is it just me or does everyone think “needs more cowbell!” every time Christopher Walken appears? Ok then.

What’s crazy is that Mark’s work self will have no idea he took a day off or why. I’m sure he’s also wondering why he’s always hungover at work! I have spent wayyyyyy too much time thinking about this show and the mechanics of it already and we are just 2 episodes in!

I’m also curious about the procedure for quitting or being terminated from the company. As they stated, the procedure is forever unless you can find a way to bypass it which obviously causes what looks like fatal side effects.
