Tue, 24 May 2022 06:22:06 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.9.4 By: shelbzilla https://taylorholmes.com/2022/05/18/thinc-movie-spotlight-73/#comment-1164278 Tue, 24 May 2022 06:22:06 +0000 https://taylorholmes.com/?p=28110#comment-1164278 luckily my mom wasn’t a victim of dr. cline! she quit being his patient in 1982 when she gave up on fertility medicine and decided to go for adoption instead. my sister was adopted in ’84 and me in ’89! it really sucks what happened to all of those families. finding out info like that has to be devastating- for literally everyone involved. as a kid, my parents made sure i knew i was adopted because it can be so jarring to learn once you’ve already formed an identity. so to find out in your 20s or 30s or 40s? i can’t even imagine that pain. once my parents recover from covid, i’ll be going up to visit and watch the doc with them!

also- i’ve seen the staircase docuseries which was really good so i’m looking forward to watching the miniseries!
