When I was a teenager, I lived in a Southern California neighborhood that was chock-full of Mormons, and was the accompanist for a large singing group of teenagers that was initially chock-full of Mormons because the director was staunch Mormon (and fantastic animator as well as incredibly nice guy) Don Bluth. Yup, I was invited to Mormon youth gatherings, given Mormon reading material, and for a while hung out exclusively with Mormon kids. I learned tons about their culture. I also learned tons about their religion, but I didn’t believe a word of it.
