I liked this film but now I like it just a little bit less knowing that the ending was sanitized for Netflix viewing.

Did you ever watch “The Mist” from 2007? It just popped in my head because the opposite happens here. Believe it or not, Stephen King’s ending was much more optimistic and it was changed in the film to make it devastatingly depressing. I’ll post a spoiler link instead of typing it out-
