I’m with Lisa, I dont think the time loop ever actually happened in real life it was just her expressing hoe she felt in her book. I think a Dispatcher is different to ATC too but not an aviation expert :)

One thing- I think the whole time loop sequence was us just seeing scenes from Allie’s book. I believe she wrote it for catharsis and to help process Leo’s death in the crash. Otherwise having time looping and reincarnation would be a bit too much for one show. But the sequence shows us how much she loved Leo but that she ultimately had to let go and choose her daughter.

What I also liked is that they clearly told us if we were in the past, present or future. With so much going on in this show it just made it easier to follow.

This show is ultimately about grief but also love in its purest form.
