I tried, but.. nope. Reminded me of Napoleon Dynamite, which I was not a fan of. Mostly an exercise in wokey-pokey mediocrity, averageness, oddness. I didn't come close to identifying with it. And Ziggy? Pretty much encompasses everything I would dislike in a person. I dunno. Unlikeable characters seems all the rage these days. Probably due in part to the over-abundance of actual real world unlikeable characters anywhere you turn. And there's this bloom (like an algae bloom) of generally unhappy filmmakers --> and they are just itching to pay their unsettled, flat-affect worldviews forward. The good news is, this is just my own takeaway, my own personal opinion. In terms of validity or merit, it's only ▄▄ 1 eight billionth percent ▄▄▄ weighted. So... statistically the equivalent of zero! BLNT!

I loved this film. It’s completely relatable with some great dialogue. As the mom of a teen I could definitely relate to the struggle of connection.
