S1 is like a long set up for s2 but still very good. Plus they filmed scenes on my road! So I’m automatically going to watch it because of that! The mother and 2 kids are back from s1 as is the Japanese space agency scientist who communicated with the ship in s1 but she’s thrown into a whole new crazy setting and I can’t wait to see where it goes!
