Yes, I agree, the cinematography and the CG and the overall effect? Amazing. But it honestly felt like a literal remake, 1:1, of the original. Maybe that’s not what I was expecting? But I get it. I don’t want to let everyone down, but boy, it didn’t work for me.

The CGI monster rivaled those’d of big budget movies. And the allegorical aspects were spot on.
