Hey there Justin -
Great call out... oh, I've done nothing but track Ren since first stumbling upon his art. So yeah, I think I saw the video 3 hours after it first came out. And yes! What a great line! Here it is in the full context:

"I forgive you Lord I forgive you Lord I forgive you
make me whole
this music I give you
pain I live through everything
I've been through is yours to hold"

So, I read this more as a ... self admission, that he needed to let go of that anger he had with God, and blame he was foisting on God. And the 3x repetition one right after the other makes the line even more powerful. Sure he's saying, I forgive you... as if God is capable of being wrong, but really, he's actually saying forgive me. Right? I let go of the debt I placed on you incorrectly.

And better yet, look at what he says next! Make me whole - I give you my music - and the pain I'm forced to live through is all in your hands! Man! There is something about Ren that makes him a really old soul in my mind. Just wise beyond his years.

Have you listened to the Tale of Jenny and Screech?? Holy fashizzle! That is some SSERIOUSSS Shakespearian Tragedy happening right there. Just unbelievable how good that all is. Check it out if you haven't already. Three songs - make sure you find the full trio... here, this one - don't pick the wrong one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYAnqQ--KX0

Anyway, thanks for the shout out Justin! But yes!!! All of his music is fantastic. Here are a few more insane entries:

1. Chalk Outlines (w/ Chinchilla)
2. Money Game (part 1, 2, & 3 each a separate work of art but all connected)
3. Sick Boi
4. Su!cide (bring kleenex)
etc
etc
etc

Alright, thanks again!!
