So basically with no biases. I thought it was very good – very well acted and gripping, and they managed to make an outrageous story totally believable. I loved the fatigued and irascible husband, and his wife straining to step out of her dull life.

Yeah you are 100% right – tons of movie language adaptations… but only one original Spanish play. We could go get the rights and craft an English version?? I’d bet it’d make a mint in just licensing fees let alone ticket sales.

Currently trying to find an English adaptation of the play as I would love to stage it, but despite the million film adaptations there seems to be only one original play.
