Redux Redux Might Be the Best Multiverse Movie Nobody Has Seen

Taylor Holmes — Sat, 26 Sep 2026 15:20:12 +0000

I need to lead with this. Everyone needs to be watching Redux Redux. Not “you might like this one,” not “worth a watch if you’re into the genre,” everyone. I loved absolutely everything about this movie, and I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out how to convey that without just repeating the word “loved” fifteen times, so let me try it this way instead. The closest thing I’ve seen to Redux Redux is the movie Coherence. If you’ve read […]

Let Me Explain The Movie Hope To You Because You are Going to Need It

Taylor Holmes — Thu, 17 Sep 2026 04:25:39 +0000

If you are even a little bit tired of the standard American alien invasion playbook, the marines, the countdown clock, the president giving a speech, I need you to go see Hope with an open mind before you read another word of this. It’s the new one from Na Hong-jin, the Korean director behind The Wailing, and it’s the most expensive Korean film ever made, and it uses that budget on something genuinely unusual, an alien invasion story told almost […]

The End of Oak Street Theories to Explain that Absurd Ending

Taylor Holmes — Mon, 24 Aug 2026 14:05:56 +0000

I’m in desperate need of talking about the movie The End of Oak Street – because, HOLY COW, what just happened here? My Guy Movie Night group went and saw this together, and everyone was saying, this is a great movie to watch in a crowded theater – Frights, Fun, Jump Scares! “It’s like a more mature Spielberg influenced Jurassic Park” I kept hearing before I walked into the theater. Oh? Okay. I’m here for that movie! Let’s Gooooo! But […]

The End of Oak Street is a Fullon Banger

Taylor Holmes — Mon, 17 Aug 2026 04:46:27 +0000

Okay so I just watched The End of Oak Street and I loved it. Loved it in the way where I walked out already rearranging my week so I could watch it again before writing anything real about it. But here’s my problem: everything I actually want to say about this movie is a spoiler. The whole thing lives and dies on things I am not going to type in this post. I’m doing the full spoiler-heavy breakdown tomorrow, the […]

Is The OA Coming Back Season 3 Rumors Are Loud

Taylor Holmes — Fri, 31 Jul 2026 03:10:42 +0000

Something is happening with The OA and I need to talk about it. Why? Because I am one of the biggest fans of this show out there – and rumors are running wild about the possibility that The OA is coming back. And I couldn’t possibly be happier. The internet is currently in the middle of a fresh round of genuine, legitimate, this-time-it-feels-different excitement about The OA Season 3, and if you are not already in the fandom or have […]

10 Movies and 2 YouTube Rabbit Holes for Everyone Who Fell for The Backrooms

Taylor Holmes — Fri, 10 Jul 2026 03:53:48 +0000

Before you read another word of this: if Backrooms is still playing near you, go see the Everything Must Go cut. And before that — if you somehow haven’t already — go watch Kane Parsons’ original Backrooms YouTube series from the beginning. Not a recap video, not a “best moments” compilation. The actual thing, on his channel. The feature is a genuinely great expansion of what he built, but it’s built on top of that nine-minute short and everything he […]

The Backrooms Everything Must Go Definitive Updated Backrooms Timeline

Taylor Holmes — Fri, 03 Jul 2026 20:33:37 +0000

by Taylor Holmes | July 3rd 2026 | Horror, Mind-Benders, Explainers Kane Parsons dropped 15 new minutes of The Backrooms into theaters today. Not a re-release. Not a director’s cut with a few extra beats sprinkled through. Fifteen minutes added on to the end of the film… post-credits… that Kane built himself, in Blender, in the exact aesthetic of the original YouTube series. I’ve been able to confirm that it was in fact Kane, solo, just like how he created […]

IMPORTANT: This post is a full spoiler walkthrough of the Netflix series I Will Find You. If you haven’t watched all eight episodes, bookmark this and come back. I’m serious.
