There are lots of clues as to why there might be two timelines. Most important clue is the logo of WestWorld. We have seen 2 logos of WW.

Hey Ever,
I personally think she "killed" Bernard by uploading his consciousness into a mainframe or some cloud storage that then could be loaded into hosts at will. I do not think Bernard is even technically dead in that sense. I guarantee you Bernard will come back at some point - or Bernard's full consciousness will be fully unlocked and uninhibited, if you know what I mean.

So, like you said, from Dr Ford's perspective... she did kill him.

@Spocke: I am convinced that Dolores killed Arnold; at least from Dr Ford perspective.

So far Wyatt storyline is about a rebel soldier, followed by Theodore, that killed his general.
It sounds to me like a romanced version of what Dolores may have done.

And for the reason: a Spartacus syndrom? or maybe another kind of disapointment?

In reply to <a href="https://taylorholmes.com/2016/11/28/westworld-season-1-episode-9-recap-theories/#comment-879409">Taylor Holmes</a>.

I can see why you believe there is a duo timeline regarding Delores- we see her both hanging with William and Logan, and then we also see her doing something with the Man in Black (like you said, never with William present). It doesn't seem to make sense to say both of these separate scenes are in the same timeline (present). I do not believe the park has more than one Delores running around at the same time.

FYI, my wife takes issue with me on this one. She is not convinced that there can't be more than one Delores flitting around the park (same person, different settings she says). Say what?

Btw, my favorite scene last night was seeing how Maeve controlled android Bernard. Wow! They must have really amped up her settings to be able to control Ford's lackey.

Lastly, I know Delores said she killed Arnold, but I don't know if we could take this at face value. Nevertheless, if she did, I think it had to be under Ford's programming. I can't imagine Delores killing him for any reason. He was very kind to her, as I recall. We shall see.

Clever insight Spock...
Usually the difference queues for us between past and present has been pants vs. dress. Pants being more recent and dresses being more distant. But that is less than a perfect visual queue to let us know which is which. Right? You very well could be right, that some of those conversations very well could have been with Arnold as opposed to Arnold/Android/Bernard. Hehhe. I will have to go back through and evaluate each conversation to figure that out. Clever insight there sir.

As for William and the Man in Black. I believe that every single scene with William is 30 years ago. We never see William and Man in Black at the same time, right? So, yeah, we have already seen that Dolores is confused about time - and have even said as much out loud. I do think this will be one of the last shoes to drop in the finale.

Taylor,
So, Trying to remember all those beginning episode conversations Delores had with Bernard (usually first thing to open an episode), they were more than likely really with ARNOLD, not really with Bernard (android Arnold)?

Also, I see Delores changing outfits, are you saying, these changes are showing different timelines- one past, one present?

Lastly, when we see William, we are really seeing what was happening 30 years ago; and when we see the Man in Black, who you believe to be William, we are seeing the present day time?

Thanks,
Spock
